I am thinking of putting extended shackles under the Zook. I could do some home made ones but would like some that look as close to standard as possible. Can I bolt on some shackles from another vehicle? I measured up some from a hilux today, they were 25mm longer and 4mm wider. The length of these woudln't be enough, I know, but would the extra width effect things, or could i just put some spacers in?

Any suggestions? Anyone done this, or does everyone just make their own?

could you use the hilux plates and sierra pins? I know the hole in the bush is close on the same (well I think it is)

i reckon just make some...if your not going too much longer just use two bits of plate...if going a fair bit id probably put a bit of rhs in the middle to stiffen them up a bit. If you get pulled up QT like i unfortunatly did at th start of the year then it won't matter if their a tiny bit longer or a lot longer they'll still notice. But yes i guess it is about making them look as stock as possible so they dont draw attention. Id just make them as professional looking as possible...round the edges or something other than just a cut off piece pf bar.
