my thermo is brilliant - i was getting overheating from to lower revvs and too lower speeds (crawling)... thermo fixed it perfectly. Mines on a manual switch though, and its off the ignition so i can run it while the engine is off - great when you're walking a section of track etc to cool the engine down. It also loud enough you can't forget its on when the engine is turned off.

Mines a 12" with a 15A fuse - it didnt like the 10A.

I've got a G16, and I think the thermostat is open at 86. So I have it cutting in at 95, and out at 90, or thereabouts.

When I have my V6 crummydored sierra it was set at 105 on and 95 off, as they tend ro like to run a little warmer.
