How far does a 1.6EFI LWB go on E
I went to go and get fuel last night but the servo was getting their fuel load in and did wanna risk it..
So how far will a Zuk go when the Fuel gauge is on the E

depends on each car really and how far out the gauge is, mine takes 32l once the needle hits the E line so I guess I could push another 80km or so

keep an eye on how many k's you do and how many litres you are putting in when you fill up and youll soon get an idea of how much its left and how many km that will take you

Yeah will do ... Might leave a little earlier for work incase I have to walk lol.. Should be right though works only 9 k away

i guarantee you there is no problem at all about filling up when the tanker is there. (i think this issue has been raised here once before).
the only time is when they run the pumps out of fuel ( if they have them out of order and put them back into servive once the tanker has delivered) the site MUST prime the pumps before putting them back into service to remove any air from the system. (many site dont do this). just dont be the first one to fill up or you could be paying for a few cents of air. it'd be lucky to be a meazly 10cents though.

Dirty fuel.. when the tanker delivers the fuel.. it can stir up sediment..
Only reason why I dont fill up when the tanker is there.


Its happened to me on a few occasions.. the Petrol filter was clogged and the car didnt like that at all...
(and yes it was a Petrol filter with only 200k's under its belt..)

servos get fuel a few times a week, how much sediment do you think can get into a tank by then?

where does the sediment get in? there is only a sealed fill hole, a sealed dip hole and the outlets

The ones in my Hood... alot.
Some tanks can be ages old and be sunk so far that it wouldnt suprise me if Mud wasnt in them..

I worked in a 50 year old servo for years, any car that suffered problems that could be blamed on our fuel we would gladly pay for a complete fuel system clean, remove tank and have cleaned, flush lines, new filters, ultrasonic injector clean, quite a few hundred dollars worth

never once did we have to do that, dirty fuel from servos is rare, most of the crap comes in from dodgy fuel caps on the car

for mud to get in fuel would be getting out, and a business would notice fuel dissapearing very very quickly

if you are having trouble I would recommend a full fuel system clean

so you better not fill up when the petrol stations reserves are low as you might suck the 'mud' off the bottom.
Also running your own petrol tank so low will suck up the carp of the bottom of your own fuel tank
