Hi guys. i live on the goldcoast have a suzuki carry with a f10a 5 speed 1L motor that i blew up then got rebuilt then drove with no oil and killed it again

car has been sitting in my shed rusting for like a year now as i bought a second hand f10a (out of an old sierra) had heaps of troubles putting it in because of all the minor differences. and it doesnt work well at all.

(not sure if oil galleries are different or something because it seemed to get worse everytime it ran and now seems to be the same as the old motor).

anyway what im asking is What are my options?

am i better off getting the first motor rebuilt again (the carry f10a) or trying to find an already reconditioned one thats all shmicko?

is it possible to just buy a nice one thats been all redone?

if i do get it rebuilt again will that fix all my oil leaks and whatnot or will i allways have those problems?

i tried the onestop suzi shop i think its called at nerang and they said theyd have a look around for a good motor to chuck in but havnt heard from them.

anybody reccomend anywhere to try or any suggestions. want to get back into it before the van rusts and dies.
