After going out to Ripley the other weekend my 95 sierra has got the - wont idle syndrome . I have read heaps of posts and got some good info but still wont idle. After pulling the carby apart cleaning the jets the float and needle and seat and filter. replaced most of the vacuum hoses which fell apart when I pulled it down checked the timing, plugs and check and cleaned the fuel off solenoid.
I've managed to get it to idle by adjusting the warm idle up. It runs albeit rough at around 1500, so I will be able to drive it in the city but it still needs something done. Just wondering should I touch the mixture screw ( still has factory cover on) or look elsewhere?
