ASR stands For All Season Recreation.. they do have rather Big Block Sections of Tread and being a LT tyre offer long life..

There about the Cheapest 205/75 R 15 Tyre you can fit to a Zuk that offer decent tread...

I got a set of federal couragers MT 31s for $180 each and they are awesome, little noise on road and very aggresive tread pattern.

(only problem is I have only driven them for about 2klms back to a mates house as they scrub! Need a body lift!)

I don't know how to put pics up! But yeah $140 is a really good price you've done well they look good, I did think there was such thing as 4WD tyres under $200!

There not what I would call a Hard Core 4x4 tyre (ASR) more like a Light Truck Tyre for Offroad use.. there an 8 Ply Side wall construction so they should be OK for the rough stuff.. they do grip really nicely in the Mud a little loose on gravel but nothing severe and the road noise is relatively low..

Another brand you may want to look at is MAXXIS I've had a set of their Buckshot Mudders on my Zook for about a year and a half now and they are good value for money not too noisey on road but still a true M/T tyre..

A set of 30x9.5x15 set me back just $170ea inc fitting & Balance.. They are great on the road and even in the wet.. mine still have 50 -60% tred left on them with the majority of the kms have been bitumen k's

I'll be getting another set of them soon and putting the old ones on the trailer.

Yeah, I'm getting a set of Couragias fitted tomorrow!
Just got to install my t-case gears (they've been sitting in a box for a few months) Then I'm ready for the mud of Tasmania!

Well the ASR's held up nicely... there not Brilliant but for $140 each I was not expecting them to be.

They gave me the ability to climb out of some Clay ridden sections in 2WD where as my Old tyres would have made me go for the 4H...

I did notice a little bit of instability on Wet/leaf ridden tarmac suggesting the tyre compound is hard.. all in all I was impressed with them..

I beg to differ, they are cheap simex knockoffs. My mate has them on his patrol comp ute and they chips and punture like a bitch. They are also small sizes ie: 33's are really 32.5's

My new Couragias went on today and they look awesome! Nice and chunky. They are a little narrower than my old ST's (but still 235's). That's a good thing though as they only just hang outside the guards, making them that little bit more legal.

The blokes at "FOURBIES" at Mooroka did an excellent job - speedy service, and even knocked a bit more off the quoted price!

I've got Couragia's on my LJ50(30/9.5 /15)an I love em.Got em for $155 each quiet enough on road at LJ50 speeds and a ton of bite

Well the ASR's took all I could give them yesturday.
Drove into Clay in 2WD and then forward motion was still possible but alot of opposite lock was applied..

I never really got bogged but more likely, momentarily stuck. Careful application of throttle and Low Range saw her pull her self out..



It has 8 ply tyre wall construction so it took all the sticks that were shoved at it.. They are not a serious Offroading tyre but they did remain sure footed when it counted..
