anyone know if you can put a airlocker from a 5.29 center in to a 4.8 thingy? (hilux)

are they anything like sierras where you could just change the crown wheel and pinion?

or would ya have to take the airlocker out completely and install it in thew new center?

the issue is, i already have a front air locker in a diff, but don't know the ratios.. so just wanted to check to see if a swap between ratios was possible.

coz you have a sucky welded front

i'm not real with it when it comes to diff ratios, but i can make stickers

lols you have to get the pallet out in the back yard and pull the locked out and swap the gears over like you would going from NT to WT, one locker fits all hilux AFAIK

well this locker did come out of a hilux that had 4.88's. i cant remember exactly what we swapped around, but it fit without farkin around with anything
