I will be doing a rear disc conversion to Vitara at some stage.

On my 1.0 litre Sierra, no power assist,
I needed to remove a small spring/valve thing from the master cylinder,
which applied a small constant pressure to the rear shoes.
before doing this, rear pads wore way too fast.
(Brakes were split system front to rear)

Will a similar thing be needed on a Vitara Master?
I doubt, but don't know, if the Vit Master is as simple as a front rear split.
