Got me LWB, needed a new windscreen surround, easy as, put it all back together and no wipers, din bother me as when I thought about it, there was a earthing wire from the motor to the body I had left off.

Got some wipers off Jas, ripped the lot apart, put the wire on, no go, got a test lead and went straight to earth on the battery, still no go, checked the fuses, visually, and all are fine.

???? what have I missed here, its my wiper motor that ran normally with the old crappy surround, now a nice shiny repainted one, and no go.

The washer motor runs perfect, just not the wiper motor.

Bloody motor cars.

Just ran the multimeter over the show, all is fine, power is 12.7v, resistance seems high, but there is a full connection.

This one has me beat.

Did you connect the earth to the windscreen surround???

Yea mate, its connected, and my multimeter says all is fine. I am no sparky by a long shot, but I know me way around 12v stuff, well, thought I did, I am missing something, probably obvious, but its invisible to me.

Give it lil tap, if you have power & earth it has to be a dead motor or a stuck linkage..

The ole hit with a hammer trick, stecky, your a genius.

I have motor noise, a whiring of sorts, no movement, and its very intermittent, but, I have something to work on.

I am off to work, will continue on the morrow.
