yep! flares are skinnier & made of rubber, rear bar is narrower & don't have rubber ends bits... they are the first things that stand out for me anyway. oh & usually the grill and drum brakes is a giveaway
The narrow track zooks have about a 1" wide rubber flare while the wide track models have metal flares which are about 2 1/2" wide (I think!) There are other notable differences between the 2 models; have a look at this article for a bit of background history (note that Samurai (USA) = Sierra (AUST)

easiest way to tell is.............
year model ...88 onwards = WT
(wt flares can be fitted to nt)
also where the springs are mounted to the chassis..................
NT ..the springs are directly under the chassi
WT ..the springs are outboard of the chassis , about 50mm !!
