G'day,

i wonder if it's possible to use LED globes all around the car (except headlights) instead of standard globes. that could be a cheaper alternative to buying complete LED lights. i've seen some LED globes on ebay.
does anyone know it's possible to fit such LED globes to sierra, and if you can would it be ADR approved like some LED lights?

They are pretty shit. They don't project the light in the same way that the filament bulb does, which can actually make for a dimmer light.

Save your money and get proper leds with lenses etc designed for the purpose

On my last car I had a single SMD chip for the parker lights, worked well, slightly cheaper than LED and I found them to be a a bit brighter and a whiter light. You can also buy them as H4 headlight globes. They give off a light similar to HID.

On ebay type in SMD T10 or whatever type bulb you want, SMD H4, H7 etc

You can get led head lamps for your Suzi if you like. $1700 a side. They come in 7 inch round and rectangle. They look mad but I can't see anyone buying them yet!!!

thanks for advise guys, i was afraid that LED globes are rather not the best option.
well, i found really nice rear combo round LED lights, just too high for my rear bar which i made to suit factory lights.
if i install them on the bar instead inside than i have to built sth around to protect them, but it will rather look shit so i guess i stick with standard lights for now.
