i have 96 sierra, stock standard, getting the wheel wobble at 60km/h mark and trying to solve it. I've read the other topic of "death wobbles" and i'm not sure if some of those solutions are for modified zooks with larger wheels. When I bought the suz it had the wobbles from 60km onwards really bad, I've since then replaced the wheel bearings, hubs and then 4 new tyres with wheel balance and alignment. That resolved the problem for a short while but now it has come back but not so bad. It seems to only happen at 60-64km/h but not that violent.Would love to hear any ideas or possible solutions. Help!!!( the girlfriend is starting to get the shits and wants a "safe and nice" car if i can't get it fixed!)

Did you replace the wiper seals on the front also? I have heard that this is a help towards curing but have not proven myself.

ROYCE: at 60km/h it starts to shake and i can either lay off the gas or speed up and it goes away at 65km/h.It gets to a consistent wobble but goes away. Its a shit of a speed to do it at because most around town speed limits are 60 so im forever getting it.

so the wobble doesnt change once you hit 60? and always goes away once you change speed?
sounds like balance or bent rim or hub to me

Check driveshafts for balance and the correct timing.
