hey guys so having a bit of trouble trying to get around my spare wheel carrier.
as my bighorns of the little jimny are a little to wide for the back tailgate.. has anybody manufactured or re- designed something to eliminate this problem?
if so let me know any info would be great .

a 2" wheel spacer would do the trick... one of the ones that takes up the old studs and has new ones on it.

yes thats what im thinking ...
was just cutious at to whats other people have done etc.
ideally ide love to have it all removed from the back tailgate, get it all smothened out. and just run the spare on the roof.
but i dont have the money to get body work like that done

i have 30s and with the offset of the rim it doesnt hit.. mind you the offset of that rim is more then the other 4 on the car..

check zukenutters build.. he cut and shut the original to move the tyre up so as not to hit on the bumper.. you could also do similar to move out

2" wheel spacer will work. I have 235's on -13 15x7 rims with heaps of clearance.

what lift have you got in yours?
im waiting for my off road armoury 4.5" kit to arrive im hoping the front bumper dosent rub on the tyres. dont particualry want to cut it up?

I have a 80mm lift, my tyres did rub on the front but cus your only running 15x6's with o off set they shouldn't rub, but you may want to get rims with some descent off set, if your you are getting the 4.5" kit.

this is what i did to mine, it now clears 235's on a standard rim. i only put a 10mm plate to space it out.

can't you put the wheel on back to front to give a bit more room to the back door
