Bought a second hand gearbox, installed it with my shifter and little washer around the gearbox shifter as i am running 3" BL. The previous owner of the gearbox gave it a drive and swears it was a hell of a lot tighter in his.
Is there a similar story with the sierra gearbox's that there is a washer just bellow the shifter that flogs out?
If so, would anyone of the forum be knocking them up for cheap?

They have a bush on the bottom of the stick where it goes into the selecta that can fall out when removing the stick. If it has and falls into the box it will eventualy block a gear out. Check it is still there first
Also commonly the spring on the top of the stick breaks and the stick can move arround heaps.
