So for a while now whenever i turn my wipers on they go straight to high and the wiper fluid pump turns on for a second off for a second repetitively. Not that this is already enoguh it is impossible to stop the wiperes going without turning the car completely off. Now all of a sudden the wipers have started coming on when I turn on my left indicator. Thankfully they do turn off with the indicator.

Anyone got any ideas on what's causing this bug? I've been running it on 10% ethanol for a while. Is my zook drunk?

I would be pulling off steering wheel and column covers to see what is going on with the switches. If you can't find anything obvious then track down a complete second hand setup (wiper and indicator stalks) and swap it over. Sounds like something has broken/worn out in there.

It's got nothing to do with the fuel by the way...

That's caused by a bad earth, probably around your tailight area. Either it's corroded, or has been given a good coat of paint after an accident.

The original problem does sound like a problem with the stalk though
