finishing off the wiring on a 1.6 conversion for my friends sierra, any idea what the colour is in the sierra harness?

i do not have the piece of the original harness which goes to the carby solenoids and the oil switch on the sierra motor to trace this wire back.

also does anyone do anything to upgrade the fuse-able link ? seems like a shit system to me. Also if replacing this with a fuse what amperage would it be.

Thanks heaps

Sam

The oils switch is yellow with black trace, Fuseable link should be just higher than your alt output as this is what charges your battery, suggest the best option is a sterio fuse 50 or 60 amp, anything less will get hot and melt over time. The main wire you need for the idle solinoid is black with white trace, this is ign pos on all suzukis. If you have a 3 wire sierra carby earth the whit wire on the solinoid and do away with all the emmision switches on the gearbox and the switch on the side of the carby if you want to keep it simple.
