not really mod'ing taking some leafs out....
its going to be very stiff and wont flex much if you don't...
but in the end its up to you. taking out leafs isn't hard at all.

yeah i have teh same thing.
mine is a daily driver as well.
though i take it 4wding too.
i'm running 30's
so yeah gives you heaps of lift.
mine sounds like the exact same as yours when i first got it.
shocks and srings were F#$ked
leafs pretty much were straight no bend in them
and shocks were rooted.
so yeah its the way to go for a cheap lift.

yeah you should be right shackles in front and 31's fitting, though you might get some rubbing. and might need to do abit of chopping (i have to do some) usually rubs on the bumper bracket, just cut the bottom off abit, or grind.

Zookfisher - Do you mean the 31s should fit just with extended shackles in the front and on the stock suspension?

yeah no doubt.
you really need atlaest 2 inch lift, plus cutting out to fit them.
if they still scrub after that, then i'd go some bodylift
i am only running 30's

yeah well basically with my sierra i just cut the front bumper bracket abit and bashed all my sills inside the gaurd in.
and thats all i had to do, i'm not even running shackles
to fit the 30's anyhow....
you might get away with the same get up.
