as the title says, what would cause the handbrake light to come on while still depessed :?: any ideas :!:

My friend had the same thing happen too, everytime we go around the corner the light would come one. Turned out to be low brake fluid :)

Either that or the switch on the handbrake lever is playing up

I had the same problem a few years back with my GV. Turned outto be a faulty handbrake switch. 8)

brake fluid was a bit low, topped it up & seems to be ok. :)

if your brake fluid was that low it might be a idea to check your brake pads, the fluid doesn't go anywhere unless you have a leak and slowly goes down as your pads wear.

My top up is usually once a week, My rear drums leak..

Just gotta get the time to put my new pistons in :P
