Yeah, okay. I'll get that hypoid oil then is it cheaper?, cos I'm pretty anal about clean fluids in things so it will get changed often.

Hypoid refers to the way the gears are cut/bevelled.
Oils have unique properties to handle the pressure/friction caused by these type of gears.

The workshop manual specifies: "Hypoid gear oil, SAE90 or 80W".
2.0litres for the front, 1.5litres for the rear.

A 2.5litre bottle of Penrite Hypoid 80w90 is around $30 from any Bursons/ripco/supercrap.
Cheap enough to change frequently, good enough to leave long term if you need to.

I was gonna grab a 4L jug they were like $30-40.
