Hahahahahahaha

I think he said "Is it safe to do?"

Yes it is. It is to keep the springs from moving sideways, which they mostly never do anyway.

if you have to open up the clamps then you obviously have badly designed spring packs. It is definately not recommended to change the clamps in any way. We actually run extra clamps on our pack in our comp truck, this damatically reduces the amount of spring wrap and allows the tires better traction, without sacrificing flex.

What you will find is that the spring packs are poorly designed for the vehicles optimum. the sort of pack which a zuk should have would be 5-6leafs out of 5mm and 3 clamps minimum (1 on the shackle side and 2 on the chassis mount side) top 2 leafs military wrap and the next 3 only shorter by 50-60mm each end. This is very similar to a comp style jeep pack - although they area little thicker ~6mm.
