chassis number

Hi could some one please let me no where the chassis number is located on a lwb sierra, i just got one but the chassis has been painted with pressure packs!! really hoping they havent been filed off!

In a LWB Suzuki sierra, (And guessing by the name, this is you) Front of the car, outside of the driver side chassis rail. Look in the wheel well.

In a LWB Maruti Stockman, Rear of the car, outside of the drivers side chassis rail, 10cm before the rail ends.

Rhf between the shock mount and the steering box bolts.

Front right of chassis. About inbetween engine mount and steering box.

If its a jap sierra it on the drivers side in the front wheel arch just behind the steering box ( outside of rail).

If its a maruti its on the drivers side about 20cm in from the very back of the chassis.

yeah i know should have checked, but i got it for next to nothing and its only bought for a farm ute so im not that concerned it has rego and an enginners cert ill hit the chassis with a wire brush and see what i can find im sure they are there, i think its a case of a young bloke with a pressure pack getting a bit excited!

Coilers have them in both places IIRC, to help prevent chop shop activities - I think a legislative requirement?
