So I'm about to tare my j20a apart for a freshen up. Through various US sites I can get a full rebuild kit for around 4-500 landed in oz. Including pistons, bearings, gaskets, etc. My local autopro wanted $420 just for the gasket set!
So obviously a no-brainer to import, anyone have any sites they've used before and recommend?
I don't think I've seen the J20A stuff on the Low Range Off Road web page, but I'm pretty certain he can get it if you ask - if he can't, try Parts Dinosaur - they have it.

"it seems smarter to just buy local.... Might even be faster and defs more easy to return faulty stuff...."
How so? Look I'm all for buying local. Do it as much as possible, but literally I'm looking at the same brands, and the difference in cost will probably be around $500 vs $2000-3000!
I did the same thing recently buying K&N filters. For the price of one filter in oz I got filters for two cars and my motorbike fedexed here within a week.
