Sorry. Trying. You wouldnt have been able to drive around the block or anything.

I experienced this. Igniting on the exhaust stroke, sometimes coughing and turning over a couple of times giving you the idea it's almost going to start. Better to check than ignore it because it wasn't mentioned in a post.

Check your earths. It could also be your shifter bush. Failing that do a 4AGE swap. Hi Royce

Here is some info about the pulley orientation with regard to the E and I marks. It's for a 16v 1600, but I can't see how it would be different to a g13.

dan i would like a colla rockstar pls your wrong..

the cam was locked in the wrong hole.

all fixed and marked the correct timing mark with some "nissan red" paint.
