How rare are GV steel diffs?

Hi guys,

I've rang around to two of my local Suzuki specialists and one of them says they've had about 5 steel diffs come through their workshop in the 20 yrs they've been wreaking suzuki's, and the other joint says they've never seen any before but knows they're out there, just hard to come by.

One them also mentioned that its bullshit the housings break, he said he runs 33's on one his vit's with 100kw and he's never had an issue.

Does this sound right?

Its just the housing I need isnt it?

And its off an 02-03 model GV isn't it? Manual or Auto? Or doesn't it matter?

you wrecker man is a tool, go elsewhere. just have a search for the number of cracked alloy housings on here!

seeing you're running the calmini kit i'd be chasing one out of a 98-99 Manual V6 as it uses the same pinion mounts.

you want the steel housing & steel pinion carrier, there are a number of steel diff threads with pics etc.
