diff oil

what oil do you guys use with an arb air locker. would castrol 80/90 gear oil be suitable.

Limslip oil was what I was told to put in my auto lockers... in the old 4runner

I use 90/140 limslip in mine , but then I put thay into everything I have.

What properties in LSD oil have that will benefit an airlocker?

I'm not trying to create an argument but an genuinely interested.

the suzi is really the only thing that notices it, but only for the first few minutes.
I just figure its insurance for the gears

Thread hijack: what sort of oil should be used for a diff with a mini spool?

the same oil you would use otherwise, but there is no reason for an lsd oil is there :wink:
