could be worth a look at . im already a member on there . i just want to get as much as i can for them, it ill fund more shit on my ute. the only thing i can fault with them is about 3 in down the spring pack it rest on them and makes it ride real rough on the road. my back hurts on a good day. its a shame cause they work real nice with my set up. cheers guys

A captive coil wont droop out, it is help in place. A drop shackle will "flop" down. Its like having a non captive coil spring, which is shit.

Read it, and think about the two words

"captive"

"coil"


















Basically a coil spring that is held in place both ends so it can't come out.

As opposed to an uncaptive which means the coil spring can either fall away on full droop, or is held in place one end and has a 'cone' on the other to guide it back to its mount.

I meant to say un captive but iPhone didn't agree. A lot of the coiled trucks I see are un captive. A lot of coiled trucks at ttc are un captive

Acutally not that many. I can only think of a few that still run non captive springs these days.

I agree.. $200ish would be a good price. When I got mine they were $200ea (climax shackles), so with half buggered bushes etc I reckon $200ish for the lot would be fair
