Leave all original rubber body mounts in, the blocks sit between body and rubber mounts

As far as I know... I could be wrong but to get it
DOT approved in QLD you need alloy/metal
blocks.

people have yoused just crusing body lift mounts and had them approved

Preety keen on doin a body lift after reading this $210 Is fuck all for another 2" is the steering spacer and extended brake lines about all u need to pull it off? Also I'm only runnin 30" tyres will they look shit with a 4" over it?

Yes. Yes they will.
You don't need that much lift for anything less than a 32" tyre.

I don't think I fully understand the laws and what not regarding these body lifts, if someone could help clear a few things up I would be much grateful
(sorry about the hijack too, just didn't want to start another lift thread)

I've got a stock sierra 95 and I would like to give it a bit more clearance, I would also like to be able to drive it on the road. I've read the maximum lift allowed in QLD is 50mm and up to that there is no need for approval, but that 50mm includes change in tyres as well as any body lift.

The tyres that are currently on it are 205/70/r15's, and I was considering on suggestion from a friend going up to 235/75/r15's, but is that already going to give me the max 2" lift over stock? (or is my maths that out?) does a simple body lift count separate as you aren't raising the chassis? I'm just worried about getting bigger wheels and then not having enough body clearance when offroad

I would much appreciate any knowledge you would be willing to share

Those tyres will fit without any lift if u smash your guard seams and chop a bit of ur out riggers but it wouldn't be any good offroad and that's from experience. Don't know ur money situation but with legal lift for u being 50mm and u want to go off road just chuck a cheap lift in it. There Is heaps of previous build post that give u the run down I would send u 1 if I knew how.

In my opinion a lower car that drives everything is better than a skyscraper that can't drive some things because he's scared he'll roll it.

I think my 31's look too small with the 2" I have.
