Hello all, I'm new to your forum(only just found it), but have owned an lj50 for about 12 years. i,ve just got hold of another working lj50 with a rusty body and an lj80 with a good body (i think) but no engine, was only after the lj50 for a doner vehicle but they came as a package deal so since im about to have an lj80 i'm wondering will the engine/transmission from the lj50 fit in the lj80?
i don't have them home yet so can't have a play with them to find out. i know they have different drive shafts and final drive ratios but apart from flared wheel arches and a vented bonnet is there much difference between body designs?
