Low air pressure will INCREASE bad handling & braking. Out of all the above mentioned pressures If I was on the the tar I'd rather be with Cade or Jnr if something hairy happened.

we have done the tests............i'm not talking purely off road settings, i'm talking about new tyres, new compund and sidewall, size, volume and vehicle weight. a car has an 'ideal' setting that will see it perform well in all conditions, go above this and braking suffers, go too far below and cornering with speed suffers, etc, etc.measure out a strech of road, than hit the brakes at 40 psi and see how far before you stop, then do the same at 20 psi, you will notice the vehicle stops a bucket load shorter before locking brakes. simple maths....try it yourself....i had to.

Spent 7 years fitting tyres & testing cars after wheel alignments & find it a tad odd.
I do understand at 950kg they don't need a lot of air to hold the rims off the ground. I also see so many people over tyre a sierra.

I just bought a 93 sierra been running 32 on road and dropping it to 18 offroad. It runs 30" Maxxis Trepadors. I thought I was going low! I suppose I have a legacy issue jumping from a 100 Series Landcruiser.
18 on the cruiser and you had to be a little careful. Can't wait to see how the Zuk goes dropping down to 10 -12 psi.

im running 25psi on road, and around 15psi off road with my 35" silverstones.. seems to work a treat!

31s on F100 8" rims. Bought a tyre wear guage and dropped the pressure in 2lb. increments from an initial 26 lbs. whilst guaging tyre wear. Guess what? Best wear across the tread was at 20lbs. same as tyre placard on vehicle ('87 NT hardtop). Never been game to go below 10lbs. off road--may have to revisit that one now!

i run 31 silverstone extremes and o run 25-30 Psi on the road and normally drop them to 8-10 psi in the bush. have gone as low as 5psi b4 but that was coz tyre guage wasn't working properly. Never poped a bead but did once get shit in there when i busted a rear leaf spring.
