My suzuki has begun to blow ign fuses when the ign switch is placed in the on position. I can start it by leaving the fuse out and powering it direct from the switch. I discovered that if I disconnect the pollution control unit behind the glove box the fuse don't blow and the motor runs. My question is can I run the car without this unit and if so what effect could it have?


Any advice would be appreciated.

The car will run fine without it.
