This morning on my way home from work, I noticed that the lockright seemed to be undoing a bit more than usual, especially in a straight line.
Then i found that when I wasn't accelerating, there was a ticking sound coming from the diff.
Tyre pressures are identical by the way - this happened the last 3 kms home, what could it be?

is it still driving both wheels?
doesn't sound good. mine makes no noises when slowing down
it might pay to look for bits in the oil, might have munched a spring.

i had a lockright lokka front and back in my old sierra, was always jumpin the back of the car around in carparks on tight turns, then i heard ticking in a straight line 4 a while, then i heard nothing & couldnt go round corners, it locked completely, took it back 2 4WD systems & i had somehow broken the pins in it? needless to say it was stuffed..

You do know a mini spool is just like a welded diff.
Cons:
Still illegal.
Wears tyres.
Expensive version of a welded diff
Pro's:
Its a locker
It makes cool twists in axles.
No banging or clanging or grinding or shuddering or pinging or ponging or tinging.
