any help, i did abit of searching and got mixed answers so is it worth me going out to buy grease or just fit them with out ??

Use the white grease makes it easy to put them in unless you have greasable shackles then yes grease them after every trip and don't forget to grease your drive shafts

get rubber grease... unless you dont need your bushes to last very long.

any decent auto shop will have castrol rubber grease

Where would I need to put it, in the pin hole or around the outside where it sits in the eye ? Or both

Just grease the whole lot up. There's nowhere it shouldn't go.

Rubber grease washes out almost instantly. There's really no point greasing rubber bushes except as an assembly aid. It will be gone after the first decent trip, which is fine because rubber bushes were designed to work without grease.

x2, imo it's just for assembly. Don't worry about buying grease, just use toothpaste.... more flex than a flip top head!

Then how come when you install brand new genuine rubber bushes on brand new shackles they squeak like hell when they are dry?
