I am about to buy a 2001 GV manual LWB W/H25 engine.

Would this model have the steel front diff ?

Seller is a woman and she is 500 kays away so cant visualy confirm....

yes im 99.9% sure that all 2.5L gv are steel

Mine is a 99 Manual GV lwb and it has the steel front diff. so you would be very unlucky if it didn't. I'd almost put money on it that it is.

Thanks guys, I knew manual GV's had them, just didn't know from what year....

Autos up to 2003 don't as I have a 2002 auto with alloy diff.

Mines an 01 manual lwb h25 - definitely steel diff.

In late 2003 they did a model update. New dash, interior and a few mechanical changes. All updated V6 models then had the steel diff. Not sure about the 4cly models

My SQ420 is a 03 with the updated dash but has the alloy diff
