I think you would need to be:
1) a little more specific on what you want in terms of suspention, ie. just 2" springs or complete trail slayer kit? It can range from $300 - $6000
2) Do you want a custom bar or one that you can buy from ARB -TJM ?

There are a few places online that you can web shop. Click on the links in the top of the banner as a starter and Ebay is your friend.

sorry for the vagueness this is the first time ive had a car i can play with not have to have been dignified as a schmich work car if that makes sense. originally was thinking 2 inch now the more i look at pics and talk im thinking more but really not sure just looking for choices of what i can do planning on doing a fair bit of beach fishing got some pretty good trail's around here i used to dirt bike around and there is a heap of water crossings so prolly in need of a snorkel too. so a bit of an all rounder only travel about 150ks per week to and from work so not too worried about road manners but still needs to be ok. wouldnt mind a roof basket awning and the like and be able to take the family camping. would like to be able to get an off the shelf winch bar but seems pretty hard to find. hope that isnt too much beer rambling but that sorta what im chasing.

you can an "off the shelf" bull bar from ARB or even get one sent over from the states. Again it all depends on what you want.

If it's mainly beach work and the occasional "off road" dirt track, the standard suspention will do, otherwise 2" and 225 /65 AT tyres would do what you want.

Hey mate

I own a 1991 LWB so can tell you my experiences. I basically wanted to set it up for beach fishing the Muarray mouth and still be my daily driver.

I have added 50mm spring spacers, longer rear shocks, front shock spacers and bump stop extensions; along with new 30" tyres this has increased my ground clearance by at least 3 inches. The lift has cost me all up about $400.

For me it will prevent the belly of the car from scooping up sand all of the time, something that happened allot for me at a stock ride height especially when driving in ruts.

As for a bullbar I am leaning towards ARB, fairly pricey but you get what you pay for right? and they are ADR approved.
