will be made from 5mm flat bar. hopfully you can understand it basicly an option i am looking at. i dont want any thing to get hung up on the chassie and i think this is probably the best way to do it without welding/drill chassie
BLUE will be an 8.8 m10 bolt x2

prob should add that this will be clamped to the chassie the |_| will be made to fit the chassie tighly
the 'weld' is basicly 2 welds that will make the _ of the |_|

mine are pretty well teh same

my sierra ones just bolted to teh body mounts, out of teh way and worked ok

I have mine bolted off the side of the brackets for the body mount. Combined with the body lift, the brackets are up high and don't get in the way.

More then strong enough, had the thing sitting on the sliders with all 4 wheels off the ground and they hardly moved.

Mine are a plat with 4 bits of thread bar poking out then a bit of plate on the other side with holes in it... and some nuts for good measure...

wouldn't the mounts get caught up rather than sliding on the chassis rails?

I have crash landed hard on these very basic sliders quite a few times now and they are holding up well.
3 M10 bolts into the front and rear outrigger body mounts and a clamp around the chassis in the middle.

that why i am going to be making mine how i said, i was acelly going to do what 31zook did but i though it going to get hung up too easy. want 33 desine is very good but you stil got the clamp around the chassie so might as well mount the while lot of the chassie.

the back piece, inside of chassis is bent 90 degrees under the chassis then up again under the outrigger. The outer flat section is welded on the first piece down the bottom and then the outrigger welded to both.

i think i might steal some of that design if that ok.

well i got the pipe cut the lengh and notched out. tomrow will be making the plates that will go onto the chassie and maybe start welding them.

i was just looking at the position where the 'slider' will sit but seems theres 100 ways to do it.you got that strip of metal where the 2 sheets have been spot welded together that hangs down 10mm, please post close up pics

Those bash look good . Do you find your self feeling indistruckable with them on. And how do they affect drivability off road.

The sliders make a big difference to how I drive offroad, I take different lines and speeds, don't have to worry about panel danage or getting hang up.

I was at Landcruiser Park last long weekend and was using the slider everywhere, I even managed to bend the lip on the bottom of the sills, where the slider come out.

Would you have had panel damage if it weren't for the tube bar attached to the the box section . Hard to know for sure or not, ???
