I'm getting a lot of wear on the outer side of my tires, just wondering of its the caster not set properly. The front bushes are set to the top and the rear (behind the axle) are towards the bottom. Will upload a picture after work.

This is a quick photo this morning when i was looking at it, not the best example.

Not sure about castor, but have you checked tyre pressures?

32 PSI front & rear i have never touched the pressure since i have had the wheels.

Waaaaaaay too high... Bout 26psi is plenty

Yea 1 pressure gauge was saying 25 and another was 32, i'd believe 32.

What i find is when driving on rough roads it pulls me into a dip and pushes me away from bumps... driving through beaudesert to boonah scares the shit outta me at speedlimit.

Im thinking 30's with offset + balance & alignment + RTC dampener. If i'm finding it still a problem then it will be going in to get it looked at.

Yup the RTC is a godsend for the Jimny in my opinion. I used to just hang on and get taken for a ride with 225x70 no RTC. Now with 31x10.5 muddies,5" lift and RTC I still get a slight deviation in travel path on crappy roads but very minimal and very sedate. As for the bushes I can't comment as I run the corrected radius arms so it's a different kettle of fish.

wear on only the outer edge of the tyres will not be a tyre pressure issue , it is going to be a toe or castor problem , or worn/bent suspension components . Can you notice any feathering of the edges on the outside where the wear is , or is it uniform wear ?

Simplest way is to take it for a wheel alignment and get a before and after readout , they will normally advise if something is out of whack as far as camber/castor/toe is concerned before you go spending any money on things that arent really neccesary.

It does need a wheel alignment, pulls to the right a bit, 30's or 31's havent decided yet. Are on the cards anyways as all i need are tyres so when i get the wheels balanced etc.. i'll get them to go over the caster and so on aswell.

The wear is noticeable when you look at them and run your hands over it.

Caster bushes are not enough correction for 3" IMO.

Wearing on the outside of the front tyres and vague steering at high speed is definite confirmation of not enough caster correction. Buy yourself some caster corrected arms.

Here's my stock arms with caster bushes fitted so you can see correct set-up, next to my 4.5" lift ORA arms, as you can see huge difference in caster correction. My 100mm lifted Jimny feels very stable at high speed... even when I've been at 130km/h.
