Over the short period that I have been a member on this great site I have noted that a lot of the topics cover issues in respect to modifications to our vehicles and the possible interchangeability of parts between models (Vitara and Sierra etc) and between the same models but different years and configurations (Vitara 89 SWB and Vitara 94 LWB etc).

What are members thoughts on having a specific area set aside where information can be posted up into a database setup where modifications can be listed in say Model order on what has been achieved and what fine tuning is required to make the part fit/work.
I know that some of the common ones are the 1.6 transplant into the Sierra which are well covered on this site but I am sure that a lot of the members here have a wealth of knowledge on other swaps which may even be as simple as what wheels they have swapped or what door handles have been swapped.

My real interest lies in finding what other door will fit a 95 SWB vitara, but I thought this might be something useful to have on this site where all of us can post up what we have found to work by personal experience but never felt the need to share.

Give it some thought and see what you think.
