Hi guys... Anyone bought one? Or have an opinion about it?

I'm trying to decide whether I'll be better off simply purchasing one of these or getting a mate to help fabricate a cradle & incorporate a roctoy & heavy duty mounts..

Im currently running 6.5's & 35's.... Thoughts/opinions? Cheers!

Great bit of gear. But there can be a huge wait for them. Last I checked it was a 4 month delay.

The new one is better as it picks up another mount.

Could u just get ur original mounts and I and just plate them (increasing thickness) and mount a rock toy ring to it?

Justcruising makes awsome tcase mounts also u could easily ad a rocktoy ring to it (I think someone road here said that he can get rocktoy rings) Fatzookster might have an option as well since he's back on deck

Does the ring in the new mount work pretty much the same as a roctoy?

You can and when I did this it started ripping the bolts out of the case and bending the chassis mounts.

What specs? What size tyres and reduction gears?

Would u have rathered u didn't run a rocktoy ring, or just plated the original mounts?

What would u have done differently?

That was on 33's, 5.14 TC gears and 5.12 diff gears, thickened pass side arm and gusseted drivers side arm, raised case with solid mounts and driving nothing but rocks.

Differently ? I would have used RHS to raise the factory rubber mounts, or Just_cruzin's mounts, or added the extra rubber mount to the pass side like someone posted on here, this would possibly have been enough. The stock arms start bending once you are twin locked on 31's or bigger, with gearing and on high traction terrain. The Roctoy ring does help some but as with any mod it simply moves the problem to somewhere else in the driveline and the chassis mounts and case bolts become the next weakest point from my experience.

You need a fusable link. Otherwise the case or gear faces will become the next best thing.

Have never killed a case it was just the arms and mounts that bent with the solid mounts. However I ran solid mounts for a few years and only had to straighten the arms/mounts 2 or 3 times in that period, so it wasnt a 'huge' issue when I was on 33's with 38's though I was lucky to get 1/2 an hour out of it before they would twist to the point the input shaft was starting to come through the floor. But by the same token there has been a few threads over the years of people chewing through the rubber mounts every trip, arms are easy enough to straighten were as the rubber mounts tend to be ripped in half.

I've been waiting nearly 5 months for my transfer cradle from lowrange (should be here next week) and now they release their own cradle which looks like a better design for roughly the same money

Well i purchased the new cradle..planning on using it with justcruizin's lifted mounts. See how it all holds up!
