mate of mine broke a jimny cv/axle. i have a spare set of sj80 ones in the shed but still in the housing wanting to kno if anyone knows if they fit

I am pretty sure jimny is wider than coily.
You have both there so run a tape measure over them.

And I think the Jimny runs a smaller CV, so the SJ80 ones may not fit.

for everyone out there they do fit straight in well into a 04 jimny
