What methods do u guys use to cut the 25mm holes in the chassis for the tcase lift

Why do you need to cut holes in the chassis to lift the transfer case?
The first time I lifted mine, I used blocks, just like body lift blocks between the chassis and the original rubber mounts. It's a bolt on/bolt off solution.

I'm using justcruising 's tcase lift,
Not as stupid as it sounds.

And a 25mm hole saw has a 7mm drill for the pilot hole the factory hole is about 10mm ,see my drama

A good idea but not feasable or pratical in my case. Not taking the piss out of ur idea or u I swear.
But most 25mm drills are Morse taper

When I put mine in I just had to drill the holes big enough to fit the crush tubes

U can buy a cheap stepper drill from bunnings, they are actually alright, I been drilling 6mm plate done bout 20 or more holes and still sharp, was bout $16 for set of 3

I used a cheap step drill from SCA to drill holes in my leaf springs. I snapped the end off it but it went pretty well!

turn down a 10 dia drill or whatever you need to the size to fit in your hole saw (Prob something imperial) eg a stepped shank drill...... all of 10min in a lathe

25 mm drill bit going through a 10mm hole in a run of the mill hand drill will "tweak" your wrists when not if it bites

Yer man I was originaly going to just turn a 10mm drill bit down but got stuck working at place with no lathes but with just_cruising drooping off the thin tube to slide over the drill bit problem solved

I think I might have a look at bunnings for the step drill thou sounds cheap

Only good if there is a large hole nearby to insert smaller half in, which I had, but my hole was on a different vehicle.

Apologies, when you said you were drilling holes in the chassis I assumed you ment the chassis not the brackets the TC mounts to
