Will the stock manual Grand Vitara 4.3:1 ring and pinion work with a front vitara diff center in a GV diff housing?

I want to convert to the earlier manual hub system but keep the stock ratios.

I guess it will be like fitting an airlocker to a GV, the right hand cv wont clip into place but that isnt too much of a concern

Gravity powered, did you end up doing the swap?
& Royce, wouldn`t the cv pull out when the r/h wheel is cocked?
I want to do the swap after frying my 4wd control module in the middle of nowere fri nite. if I don`t run the module I can`t burn it out again!!!!!!
