My mates G16B in his Vitara has the std crack in the block above the starter motor he also has a G16B single point inj motor out of a swift sedan in his shed.
What we want to know is can we swap all the manifolds cam dizzy and sump over to run the swift motor in his vit?
Also do the swift G16B's suffer from cracked blocks or is it just the Vitara's?

If the Swift 16B is a 16V then everything will swap.

AFAIK there are no differences in any of the 16B blocks that say one will crack and one won't.

Are the heads the same will all the Vitara bits fit the swift?

My import engine was a G16A from a Swift 4wd, but was efi 16V.
Everything swapped over ok.
I used Vitara cam, dizzy, sump, oil pick up, and bearing cradle.
And all the external bolt on bits.
