I brought a Suzuki 1995 leafy a while back with a vitara g16b conversion in it and I was told that it had a 1.3l head fOr more compression and it had been rebuilt I have had an over running problem with it ever since I got it it overruns when I turn off the car and sometimes running backwards for a second this worries me I tried different carbys spark plug leads distributor cap and I've played with the timing a heap still does it but only when the engine is hot . The plug that plugs into the carby is that a fuel shut off solinoid ?? What does it do . Need help thanks mickĀ  ow and I did a compression test and it shows about 200 psi per piston

It may be as simple as a carbon buildup in the head

Yes, part of that plug is for fuel shut off. Is it not plugged in? I'd be sorting that out before going any further

Whoever has done the conversion I think they have completely disconnected the solenoid because it works when I pull it off
And test it but doesn't work with the car ignition might have to do a few other things but of trial and error I supose I adjusted the valves today and that didn't help
