Welcome..

some helpful advice
Read the good tech first..
Then use search function...
Then ask...
We wont lynch you for not searching like on other sites, but the more you ask for a spoon, the more people will get the shits and stop helping you etc.

Also some of the jimny build threads in the rigs section will be helpful for other mods too.

But your new, so here's a link

Oh, if you jimny is auto, dont drop your gearbox on the ground... it will end in tears.

Ummmm....I don't believe jdk81 was being rude or grumpy (in fact he was very helpfull). M series have been covered alot. Even a Google search would have brought up AZ threads.

Unless someone has something to add regarding the following:-
How to change the ECU over to the donor engine,
How to get the donor engine idling correcly on the donor Throttle Body,
How to convert from non-VVT to VVT,

there ain't much more to say that hasn't already been documented already under a few key searches tbh. So not much more help can be given without repeating the same thing over and over.
