Im looking at upgrading my 2001 GV to a 2006-2010 NGV

Despite my last post which shows my truck out in the mud, 99% of the time I plan to spend in the sand and dunes…. What I’m wondering is how well do the NGV go offroad ?

My GV has a lockright in the rear and goes just about anywhere I point it, so id really like to hear thoughts from you guys who own NGV models as to how they go and about some of the options/limitations around lifting and not being able to have lockers in them because of all the traction control (im presuming)

oh and whats the deal with ABS brakes when your offroad, does that turn off when 4x4 engaged ?

Really interested to know before I make the move

i got a 2007 model, 2.7 v6 manual.
in sand its goes good, never had it bogged yet lol

ive got standard suspension and the flex is terrible.. also i have the pre traction control model so my offroading is limited
i would imagine a suspension lift would help with clearance and flex...

i think piranha offroad do rear difflocks for the NGV .. costs about 2k ... zooks4life was looking into it
