get a USB mp3 deck, problem solved =) lol
That's pretty much how I roll. My iPhone/iPod is always plugged in and playing. I haven't listened to radio for years, but I got a bit sentimental for Triple J and bought an antenna to hear a bit of new music. Ten minutes after having the stations sorted out I was reminded how underwhelming radio actually is. Ads, muppet DJs, ultra repetitive song-lists... back to the iPhone/iPod.
Don't really care about the radio static - it's just a curiosity. Grounding should be OK as my spotties ground at the battery. The controller - is that the proper name for the HID module bit? Do they generally emit a lot of RFI?
I've not had my UHF hooked up for ages to check - is this HID noise likely to interfere with UHF operation?
