Hey guys, just replaced my old smokey f8a with a fresh rebuilt f10a, but dont have the f10a carby. Put the f8a one on and seems to be running alright, but want to know if it can cause damage to anything.

I was under the impression that the f8a and f10a carbys were the same.

I have a f10a carby here, its just been run over. Haha
Its quite a bit bigger than the f8a.
The f8a seems to be working alright, I havent put it to the floor yet though

The bigger engine is 25% bigger, if the carb is jetted for the smaller engine it could cause a lean burn, and so, burn your engine.

Power would be down from the restricted air flow as well.
