Hi,possibly silly noobie questions but have to ask them.
Just bought myself a 1996 SWB Vitara which I intend to use as a shooting buggy.
Question is as its my first Suzuki and I am unsure of compatability of various parts.
I know 5 stud F100 wheels will fit & have ok offset,but what about the later model Grand Vitara wheels will they also fit up no problem.??
Do Sierra wheels fit??
What is max tyre size without engineers cert??
Bullbars--is there a difference between SWB & LWB bars?
Which is the better winch bar TJM or ARB??
Where do I source a decent roll bar on which to mount my spotties??

Swb and lwb bars are different .
Sierra rims are they same.
Old shape gv do ,but not the new ones
Get a roll bar made local shipping would be a killer
7% bigger tires with speedo recalibration

"old shape go but not the new ones"--Do you mean the Sierra wheels & if so whats the difference between new & old??

No, the old shape grand vitara rims will fit a vitara, the new shape grand vitara rims don't. Sierra, Vitara and old shape Grand Vitara all use different rim offset but will all fit your car.
"F100 offset" might be OK for a vitara, might not - it depends on what tyre size you want to run. In short, Sierra and GV rims will push your track width outwards, F100 rims generally keep it pretty similar to vitara.
F100 rims are for F100's though, not vitaras, so you might find the offset helpful…. maybe not. It all comes down to the tyre size you want to run, and how much work you want to do to run it.
You don't need a roll bar to mount your spotties. A roll bar is for occupant protection. If you want a roll bar, Look into who is fabricating them in QLD - there's a lot of QLD members on here with roll bars.
ARB make the best vitara winch bars.

Dusty No, not all F100 rims. The ones you need are 5 stud on 5.5" PCD with a 4" bore. Some of the 2wd F100 wheels (depending on age) are 5 on 4.5", and some 2wd are 5 on 5.5 BUT with only a 80mm bore. These won't clear your FWH or drive flange. You need 4wd F100/Bronco or CJ7 Jeep wheels.
