Hello All
If I fit a rear seat to a sierra that has a seating capacity of 2 do I need to have the vehicle inspected

I'd be most surprised if you didn't need to. Even here in SA (the land of no vehicle inspections) you require a mod plate if you remove a seat and reduce the seating capacity on the placard. So if you're adding more seats there are all sorts of implications like seat belt mounting points etc.

Best thing to do would be to ring the RTA (?) or check their website.
