I am currently hunting for a new car. Looking at Jimnys and GV's.

A jimny will be a bit small to take everything camping. So was thinking of a small trailer, will get it custom built to fit my camping gear in it.

Has any one towed with an Auto jimny or another small auto 4wd off road??

1 of my customers has an auto Jimny & tows a SMALL trailer with no probs, as long as you don`t expect to overtake ANYTHING on the highway.
Auto`s off road fine, gutless but fine .
I`d go the Gv tho, but i drive a gv.

If your really worried, fit a larger oil cooler for the auto.
This will extend the life of the auto espically wilst towing

Had planned for the auto cooler and maybe extractors to help the engine along.

Has anyone had any first hand experience???

Will be looking at the current M13A as well.

You might find it hard to find extractors for the M13A mate.
I know a few people who are after them now.
But I tow a small trailer camping all the time and she handles really well but saying that mines a manual but I agree with everyone about the cooler.
Cheers
Woody
